We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their vehicle service needs are met with professionalism and care. You will play a vital role in creating a positive service experience while helping to maintain the efficiency of our service department.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and gather information about their vehicle's needs.
- Service Coordination: Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on the customers description and technician findings.
- Estimate Preparation: Provide accurate and transparent cost and time estimates for services and repairs.
- Communication: Keep customers informed throughout the service process, updating them on the status of their vehicles and any changes to the repair plan.
- Selling Opportunities: Identify and recommend additional services or products that will enhance the performance and longevity of the customers vehicle.
- Service Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service work, including customer concerns, technician recommendations, and service approvals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians, parts specialists, and management to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Satisfaction: Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive dealership or service center.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced workflow.
- Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services.
- Proficiency in dealership management software (DMS) is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Mopar parts and services is a plus.
- ASE Certification or equivalent automotive knowledge.
