As a Smog Check Repair Technician, Smog Check Inspector, and VSSI Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet meets California's environmental and safety standards while keeping our customers on the road with confidence. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive smog inspections in compliance with California state regulations.
- Perform Vehicle Safety Systems Inspections (VSSI) to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
- Carry out smog check repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with the service team to address any identified issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Valid Smog Check Repair Technician license in the state of California.
- Valid Smog Check Inspector license in the state of California.
- Valid VSSI Inspector Technician license.
- Proven experience in smog inspections, repairs, and VSSI processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
The average hourly wage for professionals in this field in California is approximately $22.00–$26.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Renty offers a competitive hourly rate that aligns with industry standards and your experience.
