Job Description
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Listen to their concerns, questions, and requests regarding vehicle maintenance or repairs
- Service Recommendations: Evaluate customer concerns and inspect vehicles to identify required repairs or maintenance services. Based on their findings, provide accurate and detailed explanations of necessary work, including cost estimates and timelines
- Service Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and schedule service work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer expectations. Manage service timelines and keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Parts and Inventory Management: Collaborate with the management team to ensure required components are available for service jobs. Order parts as needed, track inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of parts usage
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify additional maintenance or repair needs based on customer history, manufacturer recommendations, and vehicle condition. Offer relevant services and products to customers to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and longevity
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive experience by maintaining open lines of communication
- Warranty Claims and Billing: Familiarize yourself with warranty terms and conditions to assist customers with warranty claims. Create accurate repair orders and invoices, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to billing processes
- Administrative Tasks: Complete paperwork, maintain service records, and update customer profiles in the database system. Use computer software and tools to facilitate the service process and generate reports as required
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with technicians, service managers, and other service advisors to ensure smooth workflow, effective communication, and a cohesive team environment
- Overall, our Customer Service Associates plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, managing service operations, and maximizing customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- At least two years of experience as an automotive service writer or service advisor
- Comfortable using computers and confident answering the phones
- Experience working with customer support
