Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Greet customers and assist them with their automotive service needs - Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical issues - Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance to customers - Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, and additional services - Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and services performed - Process payments and handle cash transactions in a professional manner Qualifications: - Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment - Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, estimating, and repair procedures - Excellent sales and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with customers - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - Basic mechanical knowledge to understand and explain vehicle issues to customers - Experience working as a service technician is a plus - Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems - Familiarity with shocks, struts, air brakes, and other automotive components We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
