Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive service industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service experience while ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their service needs.
- Accurately assess customer concerns and document them clearly for the service technicians.
- Provide detailed explanations of services recommended, including oil changes, auto body repairs, and other maintenance tasks.
- Manage the service writing process, ensuring all necessary information is collected and communicated to the service team.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition while maintaining transparency.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services and communicate updates to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records of services performed and ensure proper follow-up with customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service or related fields such as auto estimating or auto body repair is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, dealership operations, and service management processes.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
- Proficient in service writing with an understanding of the workflow within an auto service environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
