Menlo Atherton Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Service Writer for just Saturdays.
We are looking for a high capacity person who is able to work with our team to ensure our work and service result in high customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills:

Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks as they occur throughout the day.
Comfortable using computers, including digital invoicing and online catalogs.
Positive attitude when learning new workflow processes and procedures.
Able to arrive on time and ensure the day's work is completed.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding.
Ability to easily explain mechanical concepts to laypeople.
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and adaptable to the needs of the customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Appointment scheduling via phone and online
Customer intake upon arrival
Relay information to customer on mechanics behalf
Create repair estimates and recommendations
Order and track parts
Ensure office and workspace is clean and comfortable for customers and staff
Occasionally interface with outside vendors
Requirements:
Knowledge of automotive repair practices and standards.
Valid California Driver’s License
Be able to follow directions
Have reliable transportation to work
Speak and understand English
Knowledge of tools and machinery used in automotive repair
Able to work in a team environment or alone at times
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods
We are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude and characteristics for this position.
