Responsibilities
As an Auto Service Advisor, you will:
- Be the face of Clarity Auto Care: Be friendly, professional, and make customers feel welcome.
- Build trust: Be honest and transparent to create long-term relationships with customers.
- Write estimates: Clearly explain repair costs and get customer approval.
- Follow procedures: Record mileage, do entrance checks, and keep accurate records.
- Manage the schedule: Assign work to technicians, track jobs, and call customers with reminders.
- Update customers: Keep clients informed about service changes and when their car is ready.
- Keep records: Handle invoices, maintain service history, and assist with warranties.
- Work with the team: Coordinate with technicians to complete repairs on time.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years as a Service Advisor or in a similar role at an auto repair shop.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills to explain repairs clearly.
- Professional appearance: Be well-groomed and represent the shop professionally.
- Work eligibility: Must be able to work in California and commute to Belmont, CA.
- Organized: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Passionate: Love cars and delivering great customer service.
- Clean records: Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and background check.
- Knowledgeable: High school diploma or equivalent.
