Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and engines
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Strong automotive repair skills, with a focus on diesel engines
- Extensive mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Experience with shocks, struts, and other suspension components
- Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel vehicles
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Competent in operating heavy equipment for maintenance purposes
