Job Description:
STG Auto Group is looking for an experienced automotive lead technician. In this position, you will take on a pivotal role within our organization, utilizing your extensive experience and technical proficiency to diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicle issues. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will lead by example, demonstrating superior diagnostic abilities and exceptional repair skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify complex automotive issues accurately.
- Perform skilled repairs on various automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician in a lead or supervisory role.
- ASE certifications (ASE Master Technician preferred) demonstrating proficiency in multiple automotive systems.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex automotive issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members effectively.
- Able to complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour (pay is based on experience)
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
