Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with expertise in various techniques and tools necessary for high-quality auto body work. This role involves repairing, restoring, and painting vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs
- Conduct welding tasks to repair or replace damaged sections of the vehicle
- Repair vehicle as per written estimate from damage appraiser
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate parts as necessary for repairs
- Employ hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently throughout the repair process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive body repair
- Proficiency in auto body repair techniques, including remove and replace parts, auto body filler if needed
- Reading written repair order
- Ability to communicate with team members, estimators, shop manager, office staff
- Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools used in auto body repair work
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
