Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues related to automotive electrical systems, engine performance, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on GM vehicles and other makes, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle problems.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair, with a focus on diagnostics and maintenance of various vehicle types.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Experience working with ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding techniques.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
