Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension or steering issues.
- Use specialized equipment to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and answering any questions or concerns.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Experience working with GM vehicles is preferred but not required.
