Capital Lincoln Mazda in Cary is hiring an Automotive Trade-Up Specialist to join our amazing sales team!
The Automotive Trade-Up Specialist will play a critical role in our dealership by helping customers upgrade their current vehicles to newer models. This person will be responsible for evaluating trade-in vehicles, providing accurate appraisals, and facilitating the trade-up process. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive market, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to close deals efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and appraisals of trade-in vehicles.
- Provide customers with fair and accurate trade-in values.
- Educate customers on the benefits of trading up to newer models.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current vehicle inventory and market trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create seamless trade-up transactions.
- Negotiate trade-in values and finalize trade-up deals.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on best practices and dealership promotions.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and welcoming showroom environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, appraisals, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive market and vehicle values.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and dealership software.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
