Viti Automotive Group is looking to hire an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our service team at our Volvo dealership in Tiverton, RI! In business for almost 50 years, Viti Automotive Group is driven to provide the highest quality customer experience when buying or servicing a vehicle. At our Volvo dealership, we are looking to add to our service team to help keep up with growing demand!
The ideal candidate for this position would have previous Volvo-specific experience, however, we are willing to pursue candidates with other brand experience if their skill set fits our expectations.
Compensation: $45,000-$140,000
* Pay is based on the level of experience and certifications carried.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:
- · Visually inspect and document condition of vehicle based on customers’ requests or concerns
- · Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific issues impacting vehicles
- · Perform maintenance services on vehicles including routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune ups, alignments, brake servicing and lube services, as well as more complex services as needed
- · Document all services and repairs performed to provide to service advisors and/or customers
- · Identify any additional recommendations for services and communicate with management
- · Communicate with service advisors or other service staff if additional services are required and ensure information is documented and provided to customer
- · Maintain a clean and safe service department
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Requirements:
- · Previous experience in an automotive technician / mechanic role - compensation is based on level of experience
- · Volvo servicing experience is preferred, but not required
- · ASE Certification or other automotive certifications is a plus
- · Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- · Attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- · Professional demeanor and effective communication skills with customers
- · Must pass a background check and drug test
- · Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
