Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic with own tools to join our team. As a key member of our service department, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on position that requires a passion for working with vehicles and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues using a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed, if able
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure the best possible outcome for customers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automotive technology and best practices
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and adhere to all safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic or equivalent
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair software
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques, if possible
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent required
