A little about the position:
As an Entry-Level Equipment Mechanic, will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment. In addition to mechanical duties, you will assist with yard operations, perform janitorial tasks, and support rental equipment check-ins. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in equipment maintenance and service. Please see the duties below.

Some of the duties of this position:
- Organize and maintain the equipment yard, ensuring all equipment is stored safely and securely.
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment for transport and rental purposes.
- Help keep the yard clean and orderly by removing debris and performing general maintenance.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and work areas.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Assist in the check-in process for rental equipment, ensuring all items are returned in good condition.
- Conduct inspections of returned equipment and document any damage or required repairs.
- Communicate with customers regarding rental agreements and equipment status.
- Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment as directed by Service Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills for success:
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with tools preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Valid driver?s license preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Our job requirements:
- Able to work 40+ hrs per week.
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
A little about the physical requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees must be able to lift at least 30-45 pounds on a regular basis and be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. The ability to climb in and out of equipment as needed. The ability to be in places with loud noises.

Rate: $24.00-$27.00
