Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, and services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, a passion for working with hand and power tools, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete repairs and services, including tire service and brake work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and dealership standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and explaining maintenance and repair procedures to customers.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet service deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops to improve mechanical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship.
