Top dollar paid for qualified candidates. Unitedfleet Waukee is seeking experienced automotive Technicians at a busy shop. Qualified applicants MUST have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Operate a wide variety of cars and light trucks with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions. Ability to stand, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs as needed. Primary duties include all aspects of mechanical automotive repairs. Including but not limited to – drivetrain, electrical, brake and air conditioning diagnosis. ASE certification suggested not required. This is a full time position and requires the ability to multitask in a busy repair facility while maintaining a positive and productive attitude. Experience:
3 years minimum automotive repair experience
Diesel experience a (PLUS)
Experience in engine and drivetrain diagnostics and repair
Experience in suspension and brake repair
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
Ability to stand, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time
Own tools
Valid driver’s license
