ALIGNMENT TECHNICIAN
Eastern Iowa Tire is looking for an alignment technician to join our team. As an alignment technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing suspension systems. You will also be responsible for performing wheel alignments and tire rotations.
the ideal candidate will have previous experience as an alignment tech or mechanic.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Use state-of- the-art equipment and software to measure and adjust vehicle alignment angles.
- Inspect suspension systems and steering components for wear or damage.
- Communicate with customers regarding the results of the alignment inspection and make recommendations for repairs.
- Road test vehicles to verify that the alignment adjustment has corrected the problem.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications
- Automotive diagnostics experience
- Alignment expertise
- Previous mechanic experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with power and hand tools
- Dealership experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.00 per week
