Pay rate will be based on experience and knowledge, ranging between $18-20/hr. Paychecks are issued weekly. This position requires 1+ year(s) experience as a lube technician or schooling in the automotive field.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent lube technician experience or schooling in the automotive field
- 18+ years of age
- Good customer service skills
- Basic understanding of lubricants and automobile mechanics
- Automotive schooling and certifications (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to stand, walk, or move for the entire shift (except for breaks)
- Occasionally work in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to lift at least 60 lbs
Personal tools are not required; all necessary tools are provided on site.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers
- Guiding customer vehicles over the service bays
- Performing fluid services and parts replacements (oil changes, transmission fluid changes, etc.)
- Educating customers on proper car care
- Maintaining a positive work environment through teamwork
- Adhering to safety guidelines and handling tools properly
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assisting with inventory management
- Following additional directions from superiors
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate equipment, including overhead and mounted oil and grease guns, service machines, hand tools, and standard shop equipment.
- Capacity to push, pull, lift, bend at the knees and waist, twist at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head, neck, and shoulders as required.
- Capability to lift and move work-related items weighing up to 60 pounds.
Warning: Operating/servicing/maintaining passenger vehicles can expose you to chemicals including engine exhaust, carbon monoxide, phthalates, and lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Our work environment is open partially to the outdoors causing employees to occasionally be subjected to harsh weather and climates. Abilities to withstand this, along with loud noises and physical labor are a necessary part of the job. Your duties require handling tools, frequent, repeated reaching; twisting; bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting of objects heavier than 60 lbs.

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
