Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team at a motel. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of general maintenance and repair work. The maintenance technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and repair work as required. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems. • Perform routine preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repairs. • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed. • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. • Provide excellent customer service to guests when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance and repair work. • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various maintenance and repair techniques. • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
