The Counter Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA’s retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience.
- Build good relationships with NAPA customers.
- Greet customers and demonstrate ability to quickly understand needs.
- Secure correct parts and resolving issues for customers.
- Maintain appearance of store and displays.
- Assist in receiving/stocking incoming merchandise.

- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- GED preferred.
- Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
- Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
