Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, such as engine problems, transmission issues, and electrical malfunctions
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes to customers
- Keep detailed records of all repairs, including parts used and labor hours
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Experience with tire service and maintenance is preferred
