Automobile Technician/ Mechanic Job Duties:
- Diagnose Problems: Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform Repairs: Fix engines, brakes, transmissions, and other systems.
- Routine Maintenance: Handle oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Inspect Vehicles: Check for wear and potential problems.
- Use Diagnostic Tools: Operate tools to find and fix issues.
- Replace Parts: Install new belts, hoses, filters, and other components.
- Test Drive: Drive vehicles to ensure repairs are successful.
- Document Work: Keep records of repairs and maintenance.
Professionalism:
- Work with Team: Collaborate with other technicians and staff.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with new automotive technology and methods.
- Keep Work Area Clean: Maintain a tidy and safe workspace.
- Order Parts: Help order and manage necessary repair parts.
Safety:
- Follow all safety protocols, job duties, and company policies in the shop.
Salary Based on Qualifications and Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,440.00 - $52,000.00 per year
