Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough knowledge of Structural, Frame, Suspension, and Diagnostic on light to heavy repairs.
- Perform body and repairs on vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition
- Collision repair, dent removal, and body work
- Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, masking, priming, and applying paint with precision and quality
- Mix paints to match color specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to meet high standards
- use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Be able to work within production schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management regarding timeliness and challenges
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a body and paint technician
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques
- Expertise in collision repair, refinishing, and paint matching techniques
- Proficiency with body shop tools, spray guns, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Optional: Certification in automotive or collision repair such as I-CAR or ASE is a plus
