Southbay BMW is looking for an experienced BMW Service Technician to join our growing team. Our structures allow for flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and plenty of work to share. Our shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ BMW Technician experience required
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license
- Completion of factory technical training
- Ability to communicate both verbally and with written documentation
- Self-motivated and diligent
- Positive attitude
- Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail
- Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality
- Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
