Volvo Cars Santa Monica is seeking skilled and dedicated Volvo Certified Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive service, contributing to a positive customer experience through quality workmanship.
Volvo Cars Santa Monica is a family-owned dealership that provides award-winning service to its Volvo customers in and around the greater Santa Monica region. We are expanding our service department and we are looking for someone with good job time, at least 3-4 years experience as a technician AND Volvo Certifications! Compensation: Up to $45/flat rate hour DOE + $5k SIGN ON BONUS FOR MASTER CERTIFIED VOLVO TECHNICIANS

Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service
- equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission,
- electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Retail Advisor and inform if any additional services are needed. Learn to
- provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Assist in used car reconditioning
Qualifications:
- Strong diagnostic skills including electrical
- Ability to work on all makes and models
- Volvo certifications REQUIRED
- 4+ years of dealership experience for mainline level technician role
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must have clean and valid driver's license
- Must be 18 or over
