Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining various vehicle systems, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Align vehicle wheels and ensure proper tire pressure for optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair needs and vehicle status.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to align vehicles accurately according to manufacturer specifications.
- Familiarity with reading schematics for electrical systems is preferred.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance practices is essential.
- Knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
