Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, and diesel engines. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to repair and maintain vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Repair and maintain diesel engines
- Use schematics and technical information to repair complex automotive systems
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to achieve efficient and cost-effective repairs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ADAS technology
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Experience with power tools and ability to use them safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of automotive schematics and technical information
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in automotive mechanics preferred
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Certification as a Master Technician or similar certification preferred
- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy objects and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Continuous learning and professional development in the field of automotive mechanics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
