THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING A SERVICE ADVISOR
THE SCHEDULE :
You usually work from Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM .
YOUR ROLE :
You help keep our shop busy and ensure our customers receive excellent care. You greet customers when they call or visit and speak with them about their desired services or vehicle needs.
Then, you schedule appointments for the work and provide accurate cost estimates. You distribute jobs to our techs when they're available and contribute to smooth and seamless service.
Attentive to detail, you complete documentation and evaluate warranties. When a vehicle is ready for pickup, you let the customer know and ensure they're satisfied before they drive away.
OUR REQUIREMENTS :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment
- 2-5 years professional experience as a service advisor or Technician
- Knowledge / experience using automotive software programs
Professional automotive experience, either as a service advisor or technician, would be a bonus.
