Duties

Utilize automated supply systems for purchases, services, and materials in support of operations
Perform material handling distribution functions such as issuing, receiving, and storing.
Provide administrative support by assisting with status delivery/pick-up of items.
Verify documentation data for accuracy and completeness relate to work order actions.
Apply policies and procedures with handling work assignments.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
Position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment.
Must acquire and maintain a government license to drive vehicles assigned to the work unit.
Must be able to pass a physical examination prior to employment and annually thereafter.
Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lb. during normal operations.
Term trial period of one year may be required.
Must be willing to accept a temporary appointment.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) utilizing an automated data supply systems for material accountability; (2) maintaining warehouse functions such as inventory counting, material handling and storage data; (3) providing technical assistance to customers on status request; AND (4) transporting stack materials in holding areas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
