Nitterhouse Concrete Products is a precast/prestressed concrete manufacturer located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Nitterhouse is a family-owned company in operation for over 100 years. Nitterhouse values each employee and takes pride in the number of dedicated, long-term employees we have.

We are currently seeking a lead Mechanic for our garage to work on gasoline and diesel-powered equipment including but not limited to forklifts, mixer trucks, pay loaders, and straddle lifts. This is a first shift position with overtime as required. Must be willing to accept on-call duties.

Additional responsibilities and requirements include:

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately
Conduct routine maintenance work
Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Knowledge of computer diagnostics
Ability to work on heavy equipment
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience a plus, but will train
Other duties as necessary
