AMERICAN CARS SPECIALIST
We are seeking an experienced and skilled AMERICAN CARS Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. **Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
- Utilize schematics and hand tools to troubleshoot and repair complex issues
- Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and keep the workspace clean and organized
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve work processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automotive technology, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Use powertrain knowledge to repair and maintain vehicle engines
- Perform welding tasks as needed
- Estimate repair costs accurately using auto estimating software
- Work in a fast-paced dealership environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
**Skills:**
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working on vehicles
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Alignment skills and experience with vehicle alignment
- Experience working in a dealership environment
- Powertrain knowledge and experience with engine repairs
- Ability to maintain accurate records and keep the workspace clean
- Proficiency with hand tools and experience with welding
- Familiarity with ADAS systems and their integration into vehicles
- Experience with auto estimating software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
