Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work on a variety of equipment including farm machinery and heavy equipment. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as experience with brake repair, shocks and struts, and fabrication.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy machinery.
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
Conduct brake repairs, including inspection and replacement of components.
Work on shocks, struts, and other suspension systems to ensure optimal performance.
Operate heavy equipment such as cranes safely and efficiently when required.
Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or modifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in automotive repair or related fields is required.
Familiarity with farm machinery maintenance is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely; certification may be preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with brake systems, shocks, struts, and general vehicle maintenance is essential.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail is necessary for success in this role.
