THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're excited to finally build our own detail team! We've been outsourcing vehicle details for years, and we're excited to bring this in-house and make it part of our internal operation. This role is all about building and leading a team to, detail 30+ vehicles weekly, manage touch-ups as needed, prep vehicles for delivery, and build out a retail detail offering for our growing clientele. We expect this to grow and may eventually include other related areas such as tint, ceramic coatings, ppf, etc.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The right person for this role likely has a fair amount of detailing experience - maybe you've managed a detailing department or small team, or even owned your own detailing business - and loved the cars and the detailing, but have grown tired of running the business, finding customers, doing the bookkeeping, etc. Whether your background fit this description or not, you'll really need to check all the boxes below:
- Someone who loves cars and high quality detailing, but who loves people even more. We're talking about a leader who enjoys teaching and coaching the skills and knowledge for high quality and efficient detailing, but also someone who builds people up in character, values, and all areas of life.
- We need someone that enjoys being hand's on and doesn't mind being in the elements. Detailing is demanding work, often in harsh conditions, and you'll be leading by example - working with and for your team, and doing plenty of the actual detailing alongside your your team.
- We need a master of the details and logistics - always lookin for ways to improve processes and working for quality and efficiency.
- We'll be looking for a track record of effectively building a team, leading and motivating others, and sufficient experience in auto detailing to coach and train others in the basics, all the way to multi-step paint correction.
