Job Summary:
Bailey Park Auto Service is looking to add another automotive technician to our team. We’re a busy independently owned repair shop that’s been in business for 30 years. We focus on providing quality repairs and great customer service in a timely manner. We strive to make our customers and employees feel valued and not like there just a number. Canidates should have strong diagnostic skills and a desire to grow. We’re not just looking for someone who can fix cars but someone who is also a good fit with our company culture and enjoys the automotive profession and all the challenges it presents. We have a 5 day work week with no evenings or weekends, paid vacation, Paid holidays, closed the week between Christmas and new year's, and employer funded Retirement plan. Candidates MUST be certified (ASE great but not required), will be dependable, honest and have a good work ethic. Candidate must have a good attitude, desire to learn, grow and be looking for a career not just a job. Pay negotiable based on skills and ability's.
Duties:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
- Conduct automotive diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
