The Paint Prepper at Sheridan Auto Group is responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process. This includes cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming vehicles to ensure a smooth paint application. The Paint Prepper will work closely with the Paint team member(s) to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Clean and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting
- Sand and mask vehicles to create smooth surfaces
- Apply primers to vehicle surfaces
- Assist painters with paint mixing and preparation
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Prior experience as a Paint Prepper or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in the automotive industry
