Distinctive Auto Repair is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. We work Monday through Friday, 8-5, so the weekends are yours! We offer flexible time off, an air-conditioned shop, and a very competitive wage depending on your experience. We are looking for someone with 3 years experience and ASE certifications; both are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive problems, including engine, transmission, electrical, fuel pump, air conditioning, brakes, steering, suspension, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicle engines and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems (alternator, battery, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic mechanical & electrical knowledge required
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g. manuals, warranty or repair orders) required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
