Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work with both modern technology and traditional mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, shocks, struts, and other critical components.
- Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure proper functionality.
- Execute auto body repair tasks as needed, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong focus on diagnostics and maintenance.
- Proficiency in working with GM vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance practices including oil changes and general repairs.
- Knowledge of shocks, struts, and other suspension components is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
