Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work with both modern technology and traditional mechanical components.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, shocks, struts, and other critical components.
Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure proper functionality.
Execute auto body repair tasks as needed, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
Utilize schematics to understand vehicle layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong focus on diagnostics and maintenance.
Proficiency in working with GM vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Experience in vehicle maintenance practices including oil changes and general repairs.
Knowledge of shocks, struts, and other suspension components is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
