Summary
As a Painter at Placerville Body Shop Inc., you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to vehicles, ensuring that every job meets our standards of excellence. Located in a dynamic automotive repair environment, this role is essential for enhancing the appearance and value of our clients' vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Apply paint using various techniques to achieve a flawless finish.
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to ensure quality and durability.
- Collaborate with the auto restoration team to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with minor repairs or adjustments as required during the painting process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and listening skills.
