Summary
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Brad's Foreign and Domestic, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their vehicle service experience. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction while driving sales and upselling services that enhance vehicle performance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs effectively.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service recommendations.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on automotive products, services, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist in managing the service department's workflow to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently.
- Minimum of one year service advisor experience and Mitchell software knowledge
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
