Jack Powell CDJR (Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram) in Escondido, San Diego is a 3rd Generation family-owned new and used car dealership and have been in business serving the San Diego community for over 60+ years and were looking for an Automotive Technicians to join our team today!. As a Jack Powell CDJR Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards however Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram experience is not necessary as we're willing to train the right candidate! Primary Responsibilities:
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times.
Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean.
Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair.

Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Quick Lube/Apprentice Technician Responsibilities
- Communicate and work well with others
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $50.00 per hour
