Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a broad range of vehicle brands and powertrain systems. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive electrical systems and components, ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and safely, with guidance from the shop foreman.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues with powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
- Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and sensors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Clean up designated work station as needed.
- Scan tool usage and proficiency is a must.
- Must know how to interprete a wiring diagram
- Usage and understanding electrical diagnostic equipment is a must
- Must hold a valid california drivers license
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service or repair, preferably ASE certified or Manufacturer certifications.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive repair techniques.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively.
- Proficiency in automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Intuitive problem-solving skills
- Critical understanding of condemning failed parts and documenting notes with service manager.
- This position will require at minimum, a skill level B tech.

Pay: $1,083.00 - $1,125.00 per week
