We're seeking a hard-working, experienced technician to install our premier aftermarket performance systems and kits on light-to-medium trucks and RV's while providing outstanding customer service. The company will provide the tools.
Main Responsibilities
- Review work orders, check customers in and out efficiently.
- Perform various inspections on each vehicle for any visible damage prior to installation, and document findings.
- Complete installations on customer vehicles in accordance with stated terms. Ensure exceptional quality installation standards and adherence to safety policies.
- Perform thorough QA testing and inspection of each installation, conduct test drives and record results.
- Enter and maintain accurate time records in the ERP system.
- Respond to customer inquiries, refer customer issues to management for prompt resolution when needed.
- Maintain and make necessary repairs to Gale Banks Engineering fleet vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other installers when needed.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience as an automotive and light truck mechanic, light line and service. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- ASE certificated or comparable certification preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend installations manuals, specifications and diagrams.
- Ability to operate automotive diagnostic equipment and various installations tools. Ability to operate saws, grinders, hand tools.
- Valid in-state driver's license, and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Ability and willingness to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
