Job Description
Technician - Tier 3 ($28 - 43)
Defined as a Service Technician holding all 8 ASE certifications or has demonstrated proficiency on the job in all 8 skill levels as covered by the ASE requirements or as determined by the brand. Perform oil and filter exchanges
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements and repairs
- Perform multi-point inspections
- Replace air and or cabin filters
- Perform year two, three and four repairs as assigned by the Shop Foreman
Qualifications
- Possess 4 or more years of technical training as required
- Must be proficient in all areas of the skill path for the brand
- Technician’s efficiency needs to be at 100% or higher on a consistent basis.
- Year 4 or 5 based on the Manufactures requirements will be the transition year from apprentice / junior level to Journey status
- Providing a minimum of 2 Factory certifications or as required by the brand
- Continued and on-going web based training will be required
- Certifications and online training will be required to become eligible to enter into
- journeyman status
- Performing at Journey level performance and work quality.
- Personal tools may not be required if the Company is Supplying.
- Must have all ASE’s as required by the brand to become a journeyman.
- Year 4 or 5 based on the Manufactures requirements will be the transition year from apprentice / junior level to Journey status
- Providing a minimum of 2 Factory certifications or as required by the brand meeting all objectives.
- Continued and on-going web based training will be required
- Certifications and online training will be required to become eligible to enter into
- journey status
