**Job Description:**
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must possess strong technical skills and a passion for automobiles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic evaluations on vehicles to identify issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Perform wheel alignments using a Hunter wheel alignment machine to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire wear.
- Remove and install dashboards as needed for repairs or part replacements.
- Replace suspension parts, cross members, and engine cradles as required.
- Mount new tires and ensure proper installation.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal policies.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Must be able to perform alignments and have experience operating a Hunter wheel alignment machine.
- Must be able to remove and install dashboards effectively.
- Must be able to replace suspension parts, cross members, and engine cradles.
- Must be able to mount new tires and ensure proper installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
