Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures.
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs or maintenance recommendations.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology advancements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and brakes.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle problems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair work.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
- Experience in auto body repair and welding is a plus.
