Automotive Technician

South County Buick GMC is looking for a Technician to join our team. Come work for one of the best dealers in the Mile of Cars!

Duties:

Troubleshoots, diagnoses issues, and makes thoughtful recommendations for repairs for customer cars.

Completes repairs, installations, and adjustments as per manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.

Repairs, rebuilds, adjusts, and performs operational checks on a variety of systems and car components.

Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures; complying with codes.

Completes work with efficiency, safety, and the customer in mind.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading about new products.

Accomplishes organization goals.

Performs other duties as necessary.

Skills /Qualifications:

Data Entry Skills, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Verbal Communications, Selling to Customer needs, Product Knowledge, Inventory Control, Vender relationships, Ability to lift, bend and reach.

ADP/CDK CRM experience a plus

Automotive knowledge/experience needed!

Automotive Dealership experience a plus

General Motors experience a required.
