Automotive Technician
South County Buick GMC is looking for a Technician to join our team. Come work for one of the best dealers in the Mile of Cars!
Duties:
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses issues, and makes thoughtful recommendations for repairs for customer cars.
- Completes repairs, installations, and adjustments as per manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Repairs, rebuilds, adjusts, and performs operational checks on a variety of systems and car components.
- Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures; complying with codes.
- Completes work with efficiency, safety, and the customer in mind.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading about new products.
- Accomplishes organization goals.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Skills /Qualifications:
Data Entry Skills, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Verbal Communications, Selling to Customer needs, Product Knowledge, Inventory Control, Vender relationships, Ability to lift, bend and reach.
- ADP/CDK CRM experience a plus
- Automotive knowledge/experience needed!
- Automotive Dealership experience a plus
- General Motors experience a required.
